Why Won’t Clinton Rule Out a New York Mayoral Run?

In New York City, a Democratic stronghold where 79 percent of people voted for Hillary Clinton and disillusionment with Bill de Blasio runs deep among Democrats, the improbable possibility that the former secretary of state will run for mayor is undeniably tantalizing. And while Clinton, still reeling from her unexpected upset, has made no indication that she intends to take on de Blasio in his imminent re-election race, the two-time presidential hopeful also has yet to quash the speculation.
